We are not rich by what we possess but rather by what we can do without.

We usually measure richness by how much money or material things we have in life; how expensive and glamorous we live. . . the food we eat, the house we live, the cars we drive, the clothes, jewelries, cosmetics we wear and apply, the kind of hobbies we involve ourselves, and what not.

But being rich could also be measured by how productive we are in life; how much and how we have used our creative powers to keep us fulfilled and make others share the same. It is being resourceful, able to do things or come up with things with no money or the least expense but being innovative, turning gems out of what is garbage, putting art, colors, and taste and meaning to what once was blurred and meaningless. Being rich is being creative in life. Being rich living your life to the fullest.

My Aunt is a volunteer to help the poor people. She seems to have very low salary in her job. But what I admire about her is her passion to help the least of our brothers and sisters unconditionally. Though she is not rich in money and gold, but she is rich in love given to her by the masses who love her so much.

Real richness is a state of the mind and heart. it is putting soul and life in whatever we think and do. It is being able to bloom where we are planted.
